Rodent Control

Podo

Dedicated rodent control systems.

About Podo

Podo is a dedicated rodent-control line for households, food service and industrial premises, built around bait stations, blocks and glue systems for warehouse, port and food-handling environments. Formulations are developed in partnership with European laboratories and produced in ISO 9001 (certified 2005) and ISO 14001 facilities; the group was established in Ajman, UAE in 1993 and its products now sell in more than 35 markets across the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and South-East Asia. Mechanical rodent control — traps, glue systems and bait stations — is regulated differently from rodenticide baits, and the split matters when planning what a territory can stock first.

Distributing Podo in the Gulf

Podo is the Dutch & Habro rodent control range, supplied to appointed FMCG distributors across the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain. It covers 2 pack formats — glue trap and trap — across 7 lines currently listed.

Podo is carried on the same distribution agreement as the rest of the range, so a partner takes it alongside the other five brands rather than negotiating separately. That matters commercially: a van already calling on a grocery every week carries seven categories at the cost of servicing one, and the shelf presence compounds rather than competing with itself.

Registration status and available formats differ by market — every pack must be registered with the relevant national authority before it can be sold, and entry investment for a territory varies with the channels covered. The territory pages set out what applies where.
