This policy explains what Dutch & Habro Middle East collects through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
What we collect
Only what you type into a form. There are two:
- The distributor application — your name, role, contact details, company details, trade licence and tax numbers, the territory you want, and the commercial capacity information you provide.
- The contact form — your name, company, email, phone, location, topic and message.
Alongside a submission we record the page you sent it from, the referring page, your IP address and your browser's user-agent string. That is used to identify duplicate and automated submissions.
Why we collect it
To assess and respond to your application or enquiry, and to contact you about it. Application data is also used to score the application against our territory criteria. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who sees it
Our regional trade team, and where relevant the appointed distributor for the market you named — because an enquiry about supply in Muscat is usually best answered by the partner in Muscat. Our email and hosting providers process the data on our behalf under contract.
How long we keep it
Applications are kept for three years from submission, because a territory that is unavailable this year is often available the next. Contact enquiries are kept for two years. Ask us to delete yours sooner and we will, unless we are required to retain it.
Cookies
This site sets one cookie: a session cookie that carries the security token protecting the forms against cross-site request forgery. It expires when you close your browser and is not used for tracking or analytics.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@dutchnhabro.com and we will respond within 30 days. Data-protection law differs across the GCC — the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain each have their own framework — and we apply whichever gives you the stronger protection.
